Umami Burger

  • Lean Beef Mince
  • 2 tbsp Umami Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 30g Butter
  • Sides:
  • 100g Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 50ml Tomato Sauce
  • 100g Lettuce, thin slices
  • 2 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Red Onion, thin slices
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

1. Sprinkle the beef mince evenly with Umami and ground black pepper in a large bowl; mix with your hands until the ingredients are well blended. Gently form the meat into 4 balls, and then lightly press into 4-inch wide, 1-inch thick patties. Cut the shiitake mushrooms into 1-cm thick slices. 2. Fry the patties in butter on a medium heat. Then fry the mushrooms for a few minutes until golden. 3. Serve the burgers in buns with tomato sauce, red onion, mayonnaise, romaine lettuce, parmesan crisps, tomatoes and the mushrooms.
