Garlic & Parsley Carbonara

Ingredients
  • 225 g spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 250 g cooked ham, sliced
  • 300 ml half fat creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp parsley flat leaf
  • 15 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • sea salt and ground black pepper, to season
Method

1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. 2. Heat the olive oil in a saute pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes, until softened. Add the mushrooms, garlic and ham and cook for 2-3 minutes. 3. Stir the creme fraiche, spaghetti, parsley and parmesan cheese, season to taste, toss well and serve immediately.
